Who’s opinion of you should be out there. Whose words describing you or what you do and who you are doing it to should be out there in the public. Clearly it would be best case scenario if the information concerning your laundry (whether dirty or clean) was under your control.

 With traditional media, this was never the case. All information on worthy to know about people was from the news and externally controlled sources. With social media, you can control what goes out and what does not. I mean Jay Shetty and Gary Vee have so much content out there but I know nothing about their families.

You control what goes on your social therefore you control what appears on the first page of google concerning you. This however does not mean you can take advantage of the fake it until you make it principle, personally I don’t believe in that. People can smell the lies, sneaking into private airports for an instagram photo or such might destroy everything. Bow wow might know a thing or two on this lol.

So social media will give you mileage and will probably reach a more targeted audience but be genuine. Being genuine will make you much more happy and a happy person is a successful person.
